Join our Finance Team and help make every number count
As Senior Finance Officer, you will support the Finance Manager with day-to-day finance operations, month-end and year-end activity, reconciliations, reporting and financial controls. You will also play an important role in payroll administration, payment runs, pension submissions and the effective use of finance systems.
You will work collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers and teams across the organisation, providing practical support, maintaining accurate records and helping to improve finance processes and procedures.
About you
We are looking for someone with experience in finance operations, reconciliations and month-end processes, alongside strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail. You will be confident using financial systems and Microsoft Office, able to manage competing deadlines and comfortable working with confidential information.
A good general education, including GCSEs or equivalent, and an AAT qualification or relevant finance experience are essential.
