Shop Assistant – Horwich, (£12.60/hour)

We have 2 part time opportunities for a Sales Assistant to join our hard working team in our Horwich shop.  The hours are:

3 day week -  22.5 hours per week, including weekends if required

2 day week – 15 hours per week, including weekends if required

The role:

Working as part of a successful team, you will assist with all the day to day activities including:

  • customer service,
  • cash handling,
  • sort, prepare and price stock,
  • ensuring the shop is tidy
  • maximising sales and profit.

We are looking for someone who enjoys dealing with customers, is enthusiastic, works methodically, and works well within a team.  You will be used to taking the initiative and be able to motivate a number of volunteers who support us in the shop.

At Derian House we help children and young people, whose lives are too short, to make happy memories in an environment of fun, respect and above all, high quality care.

We provide respite and end-of-life care to more than 400 children and young people across the North West. We do this 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We never close to those who need us.

Our ethos is to make sure that every child and young person who comes to Derian is able to make the very most of the time they have.
